Staff

Shauna Kingston

Executive Director

With extensive experience in the developmental, educational, and children’s mental health sectors, Shauna is a seasoned helping professional with a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice. She has held clinical, teaching, and leadership roles, focusing her practice on relationship-based approaches to personal and community well-being. Shauna is a certified Child and Youth Care Practitioner and holds a Ph.D. in Child and Youth Studies.

Devin Hodges

Programming & Communications Manager

With a background in recreation and leisure services, Devin believes in the power of recreation to help strengthen relationships and improve lives. Since moving to Peterborough, over a decade ago, he has held many volunteer and paid positions working with diverse groups of people. He has been involved with Heads Up for Inclusion since 2016, starting as a volunteer before joining as a staff member. Devin loves all outdoor activities, and has a passion for helping others.

Lyle Saunders

Community Amigos Program Coordinator

Lyle Saunders was introduced to HUI through the Amigo’s program. Lyle is a proud father of 3, which his oldest son is Autistic. Seeing the community impact HUI provides, Lyle volunteered and became a Board Member for 3 years. Since then, he has been hired for assisting HUI within various positions and Amigos programming.
