Meet the faces of the Heads Up for Inclusion Team.

Tiffany Christie; Executive Director

Tiffany has a background in Developmental Services, Disabilities studies & Alternative Communication. Tiffany has worked enthusiastically for the past 6 years supporting individuals to live their best life! Tiffany joined Heads Up for Inclusion as a board member initially but quickly fell in love with the work and the mission. Tiffany is a passionate advocate for people of all abilities to have access and inclusion in their community.

Hayley Hodges; Programs Coordinator

Hayley has a diploma in Child and Youth Work. Originally a volunteer connector for the Community Program, Hayley has been involved with HUI since 2016. She has a passion for helping out where she can and volunteering. A drive to connect with the community.

Ryan Jedynak; Fund Development Coordinator

Having worked the last decade creating spaces for authentic community among youth and adults alike, Ryan joined the Heads Up for Inclusion team in May 2022 and considers it a privilege to be a part of the work it does. An avid lover of story-telling in film and music, he also enjoys sports that offer the false hope of not breaking a sweat such as golf, ping-pong, or bean-bag toss. He is always excited to create opportunities for community that encourage all people to know their value and that they have a seat at the table.

Looking for an opportunity to gain skills and experience in fundraising, event coordination, and social media marketing? Join our Fund Development Committee!

BENEFITS:

  • Gain experience and references— put it on your resume!
  • Develop skills in leadership, partnership development and retention, business, not-for-profit fundraising, marketing/social media, volunteer recruitment, event planning, and more!
  • Volunteer hours (for work done outside of regular meetings only)

  • Ability to attend one 1-hour meeting per month (held at 175 George St N – Virtual with COVID-19)
  • Ability to obtain criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening

Volunteering with the Amigos Community Program provides opportunity to explore the Peterborough area, build connections with the community, and develop a meaningful friendship with other program participants, in a fun and inclusive environment

The Network looks for volunteers that are passionate about promoting accessibility and inclusion in the Peterborough/Nogojiwanong region. We need volunteers to help support our annual Abilities and Inclusion Movement and other events and collaborations that may happen throughout the year. Contact the Network if you are interested!
